◉ TRIBUNE T4 · FACING CITY HALL

The Tribute Moment

Tribune 4 is the iconic spot of the May 1st morning. When the carriage stops in front of the City Hall on Via Roma, simultaneously:

  • 🔔 Every church bell in Cagliari rings out
  • 🚢 Ship sirens in the harbour wail in unison
  • 🎺 The band plays the hymn
  • 👥 The crowd on Via Roma applauds continuously

It is the most emotionally dense moment of the May 1st procession. The Deputy Mayor or the Mayor in person pays homage to the Saint from the Palace.

◉ TRIBUNE T5 · ACCESSIBLE

Special Platform — Free

Tribune 5 is a covered raised platform set up by the City to ensure participation of people with disabilities:

  • 25 seats for people with disabilities (wheelchair and reduced mobility)
  • 25 seats for companions
  • Free — by reservation through the City / Archconfraternity
  • Access ramps, wheelchair space, climate-controlled comfort area

Priority to disability associations. For bookings, contact the Sant'Efisio Office of the City in advance (turismo@comune.cagliari.it).
